Manasse-Nakamatsu Duo: clarinet and piano

Formed in 2004, the Duo has performed throughout the U.S. and has inspired contemporary composers to expand the literature for clarinet and piano. Composers who have written works for them include John Novacek and Paquito D’Rivera; currently, Jeremy Cohen is working on a new piece for the Duo.  Their first recording, released in 2008, of the Brahms Sonatas has received critical acclaim.  A second CD of all American works was released in 2010.
